PERFORMANCE TESTING
Envelope Air Leakage: evaluates infiltration through the building envelope. Less air leakage through the building envelope means less potential for condensation where it shouldn’t be and more conditioned air stays where it should – inside your home.
Infrared Imaging: Allows non-destructive evaluation of insulation installation, potential areas of water intrusion and air infiltration
Duct leakage: Evaluates relative tightness of ductwork. Less leakage in the ductwork means more conditioned air where it should be - inside your home.
Envelope Air Leakage and Duct Leakage testing are required by 2009 IECC, energy efficiency code current in New Mexico.
